Are you getting married???

A funny thing happened with both Miles and Sienna the other day.  On March 22nd, 2011 we celebrated our 8 year anniversary and so we decided to show the kids our wedding video.  My tradition is to view our wedding video every year on the day we were married. So we did and the kids loved it.  The first time they saw it they had lots of questions like "Why am I not there?", Where are we in the video? Why didn't you take us there? they said.  We explained why and then we had the opportunity to take them to our wedding site in Thompson, CT for a photo shoot with our wedding photography back in October so this time when they saw it they said "Hey we went there?" That evening we all went to bed and I was so hot that night I put on a nightgown, a white cotten nightgown and Miles happened to wake me in the night and so I attended to him and when he saw me he said "Are you wearing your wedding dress? haha I laughed and said no Miles this is my PJ he then said I like those PJ's mommie. Off to bed he went.  Then when morning came I went in to get Sienna and when she saw me she said "Are you getting marrried?" I guess my kids have not seen me in a dress in a long time so they just assumed I was getting married.  Too funny!!!

2nd Birthday...Sienna is all growns up!

On March 19th, 2011 my friend Jaimie and I decided to host a dual 2nd birthday party for our girls; Blake and Sienna. Since the girls are always together and they never seem to have a big bang for their birthday we decided this year was the year to do it!  We gathered our names of family and friends and hosted 35 adults and kids at the University Club of Boston.  We came up with colors for our party rather than a theme so our event was all about bright Orange and hot Pink, fitting since the party was the day before the first day of "Spring". It was so much fun to plan. We had a picture of the girls on a sheet cake, party favors; whirly orange/white lollipops and bubbles, orange and hot pink candy bar, Davey the clown and a dvd of the girls growning up... a slight tear jerker.  Grandma Rita was a huge help in all of the planning and baked her famous jelly cake and italian cookies which were also topped with orange/pink sprinkles and raved by all.  We were lucky enough to be able to decorate the night before which was a huge help. The girls had a blast as did the adults.  When we showed the dvd all the kids starting dancing to the music. Fun times!!. Here are some pictures from their day.

baby No. 3...3D ultrasound!

So I am 27 weeks and 1 day as of March 14th, 2011.  I have almost 10.5 weeks to go before baby Motamed arrives. May 3oth is my scheduled c-section.  I am drawing to a close and I have to say I can't wait to take that deep breathe and relax with little one in my arms. It is amazing how far technology has come, being able to see inside the womb, what an amazing site.
